I'm going to be transferring the Artists & Bands and Venues lists to a new public system so people can add at their leisure. This new system is a bit simpler than the one currently in place, but it's a little more to the point and not as ugly looking.

Ok so I've been so busy it's getting stupid. But I finally got a replacement Mac! Yeah! I will be getting to the podcasts and video recordings I took at Jazz Fest 2008 soon, thanks to everyone for being patient.
The biggest news is the NEW VIDEO GALLERY! This is a powerful new gallery that will allow registered users to add videos you have uploaded to JumpCut.com, MegaVideo.com, or YouTube.com. Note: MegaVideo submissions may show up with an incorrect thumbnail. YouTube submissions will not show with a title, description or duration. Best choice is to use JumpCut!
This gallery is still Beta, and it eventually will add support for many other online video content providers.

My Mac bit the bullet after my condo complex had a power outage. All my data is intact but the darn thing won't power up. Not bad for a computer that's over 5 years old! First time I've had a problem with it since I bought it. I won't be able to get to the video clips from the Jazz Fest until I have it repaired. Until then I'm forced to use my PC for doing light updates. Thanks for bearing with me!

Our latest podcast addition is Pamela Hart's May I Come In? off her album May I Come In? It's a wonderful ballad showcasing Pamela's wonderful range as well as the subtlety of the backing musicians. I've been fortunate enough to witness Pamela a few times live at Joe DiMaggio's as well as at Swing With The Divas event held at the Monarch Center last month. Click here to take a listen!

Hey everyone. I'm taking some time to decompress after Jazz Fest 08 but I will definitely get the photos and podcasts up when I can. Kariem Ali was gracious enough to come out again and shoot the entire festival! I'm not putting any pressure on him to finish them as I'm sure he has quite a few to go through. It will take a bit longer for me to get the podcasts up - I'm a little worried though because I think the levels might have been messed up. I'll let everyone know when I get to them.

Wow. It's finally here. THIS WEEKEND! We have a wonderful lineup consisting of wonderful emerging local talent to established music professionals. Please make sure and purchase a $10 ticket ($30 for 18-20) and come enjoy some great local jazz music. You will not get a better deal than this!
