I've added the rest of October's Elephant Room gigs to the calendar. When you hover over the dates in the mini-calendar all gigs for that day will appear give you a quick peek at that day. In the full Calendar you can hover over the band/gigs for any given day and the details of the gig will show up. Pretty cool stuff!

I have added a powerful new calendar to the site for registered musicians and bands. You can submit your band, venue and gigs. You can also put in links to ticket sales. This is a great way for new groups to make the Austin-jazz community aware of you. Once you submit your band it will become part of our database and all you'll need to do in the future is add your gigs. The next 10 days of gigs show on the right hand side of the site so everyone can see your event, including unregistered visitors. Register for free now see your options under "Your Menu."

To those of you who attended and/or played at the 1st Ever Austinjazz.net Jazz Festival: THANK YOU. It was great meeting all of you and it was definitely an experience for me and taught me a lot about event organization, perseverance (watching the door for 4 days straight will do that to you!), marketing, and promotion.
