Rare appearances by Eddy Hobizal will showcase new original music

AUSTIN, TEXAS -- Pianist and composer Eddy Hobizal is opening the doors to his newest original music and band for two shows at Lambert's in downtown Austin.  Hobizal is developing music for his next album, a long-awaited follow-up to the critically-acclaimed Anamnesis, released in 2004.  Hobizal's material is an ever-expanding experiment with sound and texture, grounded in the influences of artists and bands ranging from Keith Jarrett, to Jon Brion, to Claude Debussy.

These upcoming shows will feature the remarkable voice of Austin singer/songrwiter Erin Ivey and will be followed by Hammond M3 organ trio The Finest Kind.  They promise to be inspiring and influential performances in a rising tide of recognition for world-class Austin talent.
